Kenny and Nick are pleased to announce the new stage adaptation of the children's classic TV animation Mr Benn, which will be a co-production with Tall Stories and Austin Shaw. They are also thrilled to announce the world premiere of David Walliams' novel Mr Stink, which is to be the first ever scratch 'n sniff theatre production! Notes to Editors
· The Gruffalo won the gold award (in the 0–5 years category) of the 1999 Nestlé Smarties Book Prize. It also won the 2000 Nottingham/Experian Children's Book award and the Blue Peter Best Book To Read Aloud award. The audio version won the Best Children's Audio award in the Spoken Book Awards.
· Author of 151 books, 101 of which were written for schools, Glasgow-based Julia Donaldson's other best-selling titles include The Gruffalo's Child, Room on the Broom and The Snail and the Whale. She has also written songs for children's TV and regularly performs sing-along shows at international book festivals and theatres.
· German-born Axel Scheffler has achieved worldwide acclaim for his humorous children's book illustration. Donaldson and Schleffer have collaborated on many other titles such as Stick Man, A Squash and a Squeeze and The Smartest Giant in Town.
