Tonight at the Bafta Princess Anne Theatre, the lofty subject of how the film industry could do what the music industry have done was hotly debated. It was fuelled by UKFILM.TV producer Danny King who fired the debate with his extensive understanding of the business and detailed knowledge of making it happen. The industry is looking for new ways of distribution, cheaper routes to market and putting the profits back in the hands of the creators. It was an interesting discussion and a good forum to help shape what we are doing with UKFILM.TV and UKGIGS.TV. Watch this space.
